funeral music

A eulogy is a well-crafted speech, which a person is designated to prepare and deliver during a funeral ceremony. Knowing how to put together a public tribute for a funeral is a tough thing.

It is at once something personal and a way to involve all of those present in remembering the good things about the life of the person who has passed on. The majority of those who are asked to write a eulogy have a great deal of knowledge about the people they will be honoring. Many people are now choosing a private site such as a country club, university, or a relative's garden.

Often mementos are kept for many years, framed for the family or left at the grave site as a reminder of the deceased. People who read the obituary should feel a sense of loss or should feel they ought to have known the deceased. Focus your writings on what the deceased did during their lifetimes, and not on the sadness of their death.

A little time and preparation in the writing stage can make a huge difference in the impact of your delivery and can help you and your friends and family in their time of need. It takes time to grow in love, faith and hope.
