cochran funeral home

A eulogy poem is a special form of prose written to offer comfort to the bereaved. While your loved one was alive you never needed to dig down deep to explain to people just what they were like.

Standing up in front of so many of her friends and family to say the final goodbye's helped me to finally accept that she'd gone, even though it was the hardest thing I'd ever had to do in my life. Generally, the attendees do not want to give additional grief to those affected, hence the tendency is to keep quiet and simply extend their support silently. The most defining characteristic of a good eulogy is that it is personal.

One can also include the persons photograph along with the vocational and personal interests he was involved with when alive. If you are a coworker, you can focus on work-related memories and humorous anecdotes. If more than one person is delivering a eulogy, coordinate with them so both approaches are used.

Don't worry if it runs just a bit longer, take a deep breath and try to relax. To be asked to deliver a memorial tribute is to be given the responsibility of assisting many.
