Our society is one that has long incorporated ceremony into important events. Planning the funeral of a loved one can be one of the most difficult things you encounter in this lifetime.
An important step is to consider the finer points of the life history of the person. Personal experiences are expected to be re told and reminisced, and to be shared with other people who will be listening. To do all this, while being coherent enough to express how deeply departed one has touched your soul and doing justice to his or her memory is a difficult task indeed.
Often mementos are kept for many years, framed for the family or left at the grave site as a reminder of the deceased. You may choose to concentrate on a particular aspect of life of the deceased. If it helps, concentrate on one person in the audience that you know and love and speak to them.
Draft your eulogy then try to edit and polish your work. Be sure, though, not to include anything that may offend or embarrass.
