poem for parents funeral

When I lost my mother there was no way on earth that I could have written a shopping list never mind poems for funeral tributes. There is a growing collection of funeral poems.

We learn to cope with the situation at least temporarily. The most common and sincere way of extending your sympathy is to say I am sorry to the bereaved for his loss. All you have to do is write and talk from your heart, and let your audience identify with your memories and emotions.

And if all of your practice fails and you cry, that is alright too. While it's probably not wise to crack jokes, a little humor will help to lift the spirits of those attending the services. Some people actually find it easier to stick to a theme, during the writing process, making it a bit easier for the words to flow.

Funeral services are meant to celebrate the lives of lost love ones. To help you get started review the sample obituaries in our newsletter to help you.
