Although death is one of the things that are certain in life, most if not all people still find it difficult to deal with it when placed in this situation. The purpose of the eulogy is to pay tribute to the deceased as a distinct individual, with unique talents and gifts, who will live on in the memories of the people who loved him.

In some cases, the deceased has already made their own funeral arrangements years prior to their death and perhaps they had details that they felt were important to include in their funeral. Some people even write it themselves and some choose to just quote a William Shakespeare or some famous poem. Funeral homes have the experience and compassion to walk you through the funeral arrangements, helping you to decide on details such as service, burial, flowers, music, and other personal touches that will add to the funeral services.

A poem comes from the heart, is a fitting tribute to the dead and the living to be remembered in time. A marvelous life that is now celebrated forever. Some people actually find it easier to stick to a theme, during the writing process, making it a bit easier for the words to flow.

And it doesn't end after death. Speak from the heart so that your sincerity will be reflected in your eulogy.
